Taylor Swift reportedly plans to use Taylor Kelce as her legal name
Taylor Swift intends to legally change her name to Taylor Kelce in her private life following her marriage to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while continuing to use Taylor Swift as her professional name, per the Daily Mail, citing sources close to the couple.
“In her personal life, the idea of being Taylor Kelce is something she genuinely looks forward to,” an insider told the outlet. “She sees it as a meaningful step, especially knowing it would also be the family name their future children would share.” A second source confirmed Swift is “not interested in hyphenating or trying to combine their names.”
Swift, 36, and Kelce, 36, held their wedding festivities over the July 4 weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The ceremony was reported by two law enforcement sources to CBS News to be set for Friday, following a rehearsal dinner on Thursday at the Infosys Theater beneath the arena. Neither Swift nor her representatives have publicly confirmed the wedding itself or the name change report.

Sources say both he and Swift view sharing a surname as something meaningful regardless of which direction the public conversation runs.
The Daily Mail’s report has not been independently confirmed by Swift’s publicist, her management, or Kelce’s representatives as of publication.
